we are reaching the last part of this Forecasting method by understanding the Host and Guest relationship.

If you haven’t read or maybe you forgot one or two things in this article, please check the previous article part 1 >> here, and part 2 >> here. Are you ready? Let’s start!

The first and the most important ingredient that you need is your House Flying Star Natal Chart. I am pretty sure that you already it handy, but if you haven’t plotted it out, read this article and then you can join us back.

The second most important ingredient that you need is the Year 2020 Flying Star. I also dedicated another article if you are interested to plot it by yourself, you know, just for practice’s sake. For easy reference for the rest of us, I will post an image of this year’s Flying Star below.

The Structure of Flying Star

There are three Stars inside each box. The middle Star, the right Star, and the left Star. The big Star in the middle is the Base Star and represents the opportunity of that sector in the long term. The right Star is called Water Star or Facing Star. The left Star is called Mountain Star or Sitting Star.

Let’s focus on the right and left Star. The Facing Star governs the activity, work, and career. The Sitting Star governs people's matter, emotions, and health. The middle Star can be used for a general outlook.

Just as a reminder, you also need to remember the nine Stars and their original position. Their original position will tell you about the element of the Star. Therefore, you should be able to remember the Luo Shu.

You will also need to understand the five interactions that we’ve discussed in the previous article too. Produce in, counter in, the same element, produce out, and counter out.

In the previous article, we’ve already seen it in examples, now let’s put it into a real context.

You are sleeping in the Southwest bedroom. Based on the Flying Star Natal Chart (that you already have) the Sitting Star is Star #4. This could be translated that you are an academic person and very knowledgable. In the Year 2020, the Southwest sector is visited by Star #4. Therefore, your pursuit of knowledge and academic matter will be favorable. Or somehow you are in pursuit of certain knowledge, then there is a chance for you to get it successfully.

Next example,

Let’s use your home office or the area that you use for work. It is located in the North sector and has Star #6 as the Facing Star. In the Year 2020, the North sector is visited by Star #3. The Host is Star #6 and it is Metal. The Guest is Star #3 and it is Wood. That’s right! It is a counter out interaction. Then, the general outlook of your business or career-related matter this year might not be as your expectations.

If you are not happy with the outlook of your forecast results, then you could make different actions. First, you can move to another location which is the easiest one. Second, you also can launch different tactics to sort of influence the outcome. Third, if you want more detailed information regarding the forecasting, you could use another system in the Chinese Metaphysics study that is dedicated to doing it.

The reason why I share this method with you all…

We, humans, are the only living things that have the consciousness to think, make decisions, and move around according to our ‘liking’. Forecasting should be used to oversee the hidden matter or take as a precaution before the actual activity starts. It should not be seen as a fixed outcome.

We forecast something because we want to take control of our life and ‘control’ the outcome to our benefit. Of course, there is a certain thing that is out of our control. Therefore, tools like Chinese Metaphysics and Feng Shui especially should be used with full awareness.
