Better understanding of the term.

Have you ever heard about house position if it’s on a T-Junction and face the T-Junction directly, the house was considered having a bad Feng Shui? I bet this problematic case quite famous and any Feng Shui enthusiast surely know about this.

I will settle the terms first.

House on the T-Junction. It means that the house situated exactly at the end of the junction and the house might aor might not align the road. We can pull out two scenario. Either the road is wider than the house, or the house is wider than the road. I hope you can keep up. If, you face the latter scenario (House B), yes it’s what we called house on the T-Junction.

House facing the T-Junction. This term could mean the house situated anywhere else, but the house doesn’t align the road but maybe the main door face the T-Junction.

House on and facing T-Junction (House A). This term means that the house situated at the end of the road that’s coming in (the T-Junction) and the house facing the road or aligns with the road. Combine with the two previous scenario, this is the one that we want to talk about today.

Now, let’s talk.

After we unify our thinking about the terms, let’s dive right into it. When a house is wider than the road coming in and face the road directly, yes it’s a T-Junction house and this is the type that we want to avoid. Is it fatal? I’d say no, but it will a hassel if you sant to move in into this place, as you need to adjust some minor renovation to mitigate the upcoming problems. You better leave this tyoe of house alone.

The second type is a bit complicated. If the house not on the T-Junction but -let say- the main door faces the T-Junction, it is actually good. In this context, the T-Junction acts as Qi Mounth which is what we want to tap into Qi. This kind of formula needs some pratice and can’t be applied just like that.

The third type is the one we want to avoid -at least for begginers- for now. The main reason why we avoid this type of house is because the energy Qi that’s coming into the house is quite strong, hence we’d prefered not to have this Sha Qi (what we call a negative Qi). There are some ways to mitigate this Sha Qi, from adjusting the main door, checking the house plan and if necessary add a layer of partition to steer the Sha Qi, checking the position of the back door, and so much more. There are many possibilities of how to mitigate the problem and it depends on how we understand the nature of Qi.

So, once we clear the confussion of the terms, I hope you will be able to diffrentiate between a house on the T-Junction, house facing the T-Junction and house on and face the T-Junction. With basic knowldge like this, now you decide, is the house has a bad Feng Shui or a good Feng Shui based on the location we’ve talked about.
